The Kids Unlimited Foundation needs you. There are many ways
to become a member of our family. We help families who are
dealing with the terrible reality of a loved one having cancer.
Kids Unlimited can offer a rewarding volunteer opportunity
you, no matter what your skills, available time or talents.
Our organization can benefit from any level commitment from
your company. Donations of money, materials, support, or just
the chance to make your members aware of our services, can
help make our events successful.

Kids Unlimited knows that cancer affects the entire family.
We provide support through this ordeal. Through shared information
and experiences, we can ease your burden. Our connections
with Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson Hospital
can help you with your questions about services and procedures.
Our board members and other family members have walked that
path themselves, so we know what you are experiencing. Our
events help the child with cancer to have an adventure that
distracts them from the illness that they live with every
day. These events include the siblings and parents because
the disease affects them too. We include everyone in our events
to allow the opportunity for a family-bonding experience.
Some member families have lost a loved one to cancer and chose
to remain as a part of our family because because of the close
friends they have made and because of the shared experiences.
And this allows them to be a valuable resource to other members
and families. Please feel free to call. You will be speaking
with a family member who can answer your questions from personal
perspective.

We are growing quickly and are always needing volunteers
to help. Mostly, volunteers come to us by word-of-mouth. Some
have joined us because they are caring people who just want
to help someone. They hear of us through friends who are members
or they are invited to come to our events to see what we do.
Usually, all it takes to decide to join is one day of seeing
what we do for our special kids and their families. Many of
our volunteers have joined our family because of a special
skill; as a fisherman, cook, photographer, or because of some
professional ability. We can use your help whether it is in
setting up tables, serving food, cleaning fish, or offering
an office skill. It doesn’t matter how little time you
have to commit, your help is always appreciated. Give us a
call and we can answer any questions you may have about Kids
Unlimited. Also, we can mail you some literature that will
explain it further.

Our events are totally dependent upon sponsors. Sponsors
provide funds to help toward the purchase of goods that are
not donated. Many of our sponsors provide services, whether
in whole or through generous discounts. Items such as food,
awards, gifts and equipment are often donated for each outing.
In return we offer product recognition and publicity in our
acknowledgments, printed and verbal. If your company is interested
in becoming a sponsor and needs more information, a prospectus
can be mailed to you. Give us a call and let us know how we
